Removal of Existing Old Batten and apply Spray Foam Insulation

We had an existing roofing client contact us about new spray foam insulation the house is located in Milton Florida not to far from our office. The home is older with dilapidated batten insulation that has deteriorated through out the years of the elements. We removed the existing batten insulation you never want to leave the existing insulation. It creates a barrier that can cause problems in the future. Once removed our guys were able to get in the attic and spray a good 5.5" of Spray Foam Insulation increasing the R value on the home from before. We spray the Foam insulation in between the rafters directly on the substrate. The client was very happy and could already tell a difference in the feel of the home even without the utilities on. The Spray Foam Insulation will never deteriorate in the attic like blown in or batten does.
